Taking it to the Next Level

When I talk about wanting to work with clients who want to give their customers a beautiful experience, I’m talking about businesses like Little Arrow! Their location is absolutely stunning, just outside the Smokies in Townsend, TN. They truly want to create a luxury camping experience, and they think about all the details! In late August, Carmen, one of Little Arrow’s co-owners, approached me with some fun ideas to continue making Little Arrow even more special.

To help keep their campers happy and pointed in the right direction, they realized all their one way drives needed a little distinction, as well as a cross-walk from their RV campsites to the bath house. They also wanted a large chalkboard with artwork in their coffee lounge, to help with a hard-to-decorate space as well as showcase some of the areas best places to visit.

For the pavement painting, they really wanted something outside of the ordinary. No plain boring arrows here! Instead of simple straight lines, I played up the rough and natural shape that a hand made arrow would have. For the crosswalk, we thought it would be fun to imagine that even bears and Bigfoot love relaxing after a long day outside, and make tracks from the campsites to the bath house.

Lastly, the chalkboard mural in the coffee lounge was designed to help showcase Townsend’s best local eateries and attractions. Staff and guests alike can fill in their favorite outings in the peaceful side of the Smokies and beyond.

A Beautiful Experience

Little Arrow has thought out how they want their campers to feel when they stay at their site, and they are continually working toward that goal. It’s about more than how something looks — but having beautiful touches like directional arrows and chalkboard murals certainly help in creating good feelings for happy campers!
